Footwork Walk Pressure Plate

Our FootWork Pro Walk XXL extra long pressure plates are available in lengths of 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 meters, dependant on configuration of your examination room. With up to 16,384 sensors in our 2 meter plate we can measure foot rotation, stride length, double stance phase and analyse force/pressure curves as FootWork Pro software.

Capture two full strides

Our 2.0 meter plate is our core product as it can capture two full strides. This enables the display of stride length, foot rotation and double stance phase data. The XXL, like the FootWork Pro can record a multitude of samples displaying the results as an ‘average’, greatly improving accuracy and interpretation.

Capacitive Sensors

In depth planter data can be accessed as the FootWork Walk XXL utilises the same sensors and software as the FootWork Pro. As with all AmCube products, it is uniquely intuitive to use with fast data processing and excellent graphics. All sensor data can be exported as a CSV files for those who which to use Footwork Walk as a research tool.

FootWork Walk: Force Charts
Full screen display all captured force curves both left and right. This section enables you to remove rouge data such as miss-strikes. The software calculates the mean curve and displays the mode (the one nearest to the average) . You can choose any curve to display.
Footwork Walk: Dynamic Video - Steps and Curves
Analyse your patients foot loading, how the CoP progresses in relation to the maximum pressure - frame by frame. Charts displaying synchronous Time v Force/Area/Pressure can be enlarged for in depth examination.

The Study Area enables you to delve into the foots discrete loading data. There are 6 predefined areas (Automatic), new Medial/Lateral pre-set and a user defined Manual area. Study the timing and loading of specific areas – compare; pre-intervention,
Footwork Walk: Dynamic View - Study Area Medial/Lateral preset
This a pre-defined study area highlighting the lateral/medial loading either side of the CoP. Beneath the overall force curves you can see how the medial loading (yellow curve) and lateral loading (Blue curve) interact.
FootWork Walk: Dynamic View - Automatic Study Area
The curves and data from a pre-set study area - in this instance the foot has been divided into 9 - Hallax, individual Met heads etc. each are colour coded. They are then displayed in the Force v Time curve and the individual data on either side.

FootWork Walk: Dynamic 3D
Pressure is displayed in 3D - the higher the pressure the higher the peak. You have the ability to change the colour display, the 3D scale as well as rotate it's position. The 3D display can be shown as Mean or Maximum Pressure as well as temporal.
Footwork Walk: Dynamic View - Phases
This report is automatically created - it displays the timing of your patients foot (%) against know norms: (Root: Rear foot 27%, Midfoot 40% and Forefoot 33%). This can be easily redefined to suit your own clinical needs.
Footwork Walk: Dynamic View - Velocity
Although the path and its velocity of the CoP can be seen in the Video section of FootWork Pro - the speed is dependent on your PC's processor. Here we can study the velocity of the foot in relationship with the CoP. Note: Current, Mean, Minimum and Maximum speed is indicated as is the Acceleration beneath the display
FootWork Walk: Single Stance Capture
Enables you to record your clients balance as a single stance (Left & Right), over a set time. As you can see from the menu you can indicate whether this was completed with their eyes open or closed.
FootWork Walk: Single Stance Overview
Each foot displays its Centre and its Maximum point of pressure. The software calculates pressure distribution rear & fore of the CoP, Lateral & Medial of Cop and Quartered from the CoP. Mean and Maximum pressure display. Tools for measuring angles and distance.

Graphical displays of oscillation of CoP in both Left & Right feet. Temporal displays of Lateral/Medial & Anterior/Posterior sway. All measurements are highlighted and displayed.

Within the Study Area you can select individual areas of interest to reveal discrete pressure data (Area, Pressure, Max, Mean, CoP). This can assist you in your diagnosis, orthotic design as well as aiding communication with your clients.

Static data taken over a set time - not just a snap shot. Each foot displays its Centre and its Maximum point of pressure. The position of each foots CoP to the overall CoP is automatically displayed in cm's. The software calculates pressure distribution, left and right feet as well as fore and aft. Tools for measuring angles and distance.

Graphical displays of oscillation of CoP in both Left & Right feet and overall CoP. Temporal displays of Lateral/Medial & Anterior/Posterior sway. All measurements are highlighted and displayed.
